We don’t play the same set list over and over, it’s always mixed up to suit the venue / client.
80’s On The Edge generally takes its set list from the cross-Atlantic post punk bands that revolutionised pop music and performance styles. Fleetwood Mac is a pivotal band, being a morph of US and UK artists with stylistic blends from folk, blues and brit pop.
Eurythmics - The Pretenders - Blondie - Billy Idol - David Bowie - Joan Jett - Suzi Q - The Buggles -
The B-52’s - The Go-Go’s ...
these artists are all very iconic to the era we wanted to capture. No Duran Duran or that kind of sweet synthetic pop. Not that there’s anything wrong with that ....
We then added in some great Aussie bands who we felt complemented the edgy powerful styles -
Divinyls, Dragon, AC/DC , Skyhooks, Easybeats ...
and then added a couple more artists / songs in for good measure!! It’s hard to know where to stop ...
And - the music is ageless and timeless, so you can’t go wrong.
